Alexander bodied, AEC Swift 2MP2R, introduced into the Aberdeen Corporation Transport Fleet in 1969. The "C&A view", turning from Union Street into Union Terrace caught 26 on 30 June 1972 just after its first repaint. It was the second single deck to gain a green skirt, Tiger Cub 8 was the first, and 27, 30 and 28 followed 26 in that order.
