We need your help

The Gordon Mills MBE Collection is a proud self-funding independent charity, with close to 20 years of history, and is a Registered Scottish Charitable Trust – (Aberdeen & District Transport Preservation Trust – Charity Number SC037877). The Bus Collection at Alford is a self-financing charity and relies on donations and admission fees to operate.

The charity receives a top-up payment from HMRC of 25% on each individuals donation. There is no need to notify HMRC, but it helps the Trust if a Gift Aid declaration is made out and lodged with the Trust for donations over £30.00. And if you pay higher rate taxes a partial refund will be due to you.

Your donations are essential for us to continue our work in preserving the transport history of Aberdeen and the surrounding areas for future generations to enjoy.

The Collection also provides opportunities for learning and education, community engagement, and creative expression, all of which is funded by the donations of generous individuals committed to preserving local history.

Whether it is £10, £100 or £1,000, donations of all amounts will make an enormous difference to us. All donations are processed by Sumup which is 100% secure. Sumup will not pass on your financial details to anyone, including Aberdeen & District Transport Preservation Trust.
