Becoming a member of The Gordon Mills MBE Bus Collection at Alford you will be helping to support the work of the Trust. You do not require to have any experience in vehicle restoration or even own a vehicle to become a member.
What it Means to be a member
The Gordon Mills MBE Bus Collection at Alford is a Charitable Trust - (Aberdeen & District Transport Preservation Trust - Charity Number SC037877). Becoming a member, you will have the opportunity to play an important part in the future of the Trust with subscriptions contributing towards the upkeep of the Trust and the vehicles in our collection. For those interested in a business career bear in mind that the Trust is de-facto a small business and can also be an introduction to aspects of technical design. You will also be able to learn from others on matters mechanical, marketing, transport operations, local transport history and the linkages of transport to wider society.

Membership lasts one year from date of joining. We have options for membership based on whether you wish a digital copy or paper copy of our quarterly Newsletter and how you wish to pay. Our membership rates for 2026 are:

Membership must be paid electronically (Debit Card, Credit Card only). Members receive a physical membership card posted out to them. Quarterly Newsletters will only be sent by email in a PDF format.
